On
13/14 March 09, 9th Muswell Hill & 2nd Haringey went for a
joint sleepover at the Secret Nuclear Bunker at Kelvedon Hatch, Essex.
What an amazing but frightening place it is!!

If your youngsters feel brave enough, a visit/sleepover there is
recommended.
On our return, GSL (Group Scout Leader) Jack Timbrell came up with the
Secret Nuclear City
under the Cotswold Hills.

Installations in the UK.
These installations were built during the 1950s and it would seem that,
at that time, nuclear war was more imminent than the public realised.
Makes you stop and think, doesn't it?
