Hi Guys,

Here's one for your bottom drawers!!  See the scans below from the *NGS ~ London Gardens 2009* booklet. It's 5 St Regis Close, Muswell Hill, N10 ~ round the side of St Andrew's Church at the top end of Alexandra Park Road. Many years ago Ms Bennett & Mr Hyde, the house owners, took over a large piece of vacant ground at the back of the houses at the end of St Regis Close. They've turned it into a beautiful garden which they open to the public.

As an added attraction, when I visited the garden some many years ago, Ms Bennett showed me round her pottery studio which is complete with potter's wheel and kiln. I told her that our Scouts & Cubs (no Beavers at that time) would be most interested in knocking up some pots. She said that she does her pottery throwing in the winter when Mother Nature has shut down for a break and that we'd be most welcome to visit her then to try it.

Whether this offer would still apply today, one would need to ask her, but the garden is a joy to behold in the summertime so I would strongly recommend a visit there sometime.

Enjoy ~ speak soon ~ Peter
